In July 2019 I attended Connecticut Health I-Team’s 9th multimedia journalism camp for high school students interested in the Communications Industry. I learned about Digital Journalism, Podcasting, and Video Storytelling.
A Look at Storrs Center
Located a short walk from the University of Connecticut, Storrs Center is a mixed-use town center that includes residences, restaurants, shops, businesses and educational, recreational, and cultural offerings.
I worked with Quentin Leahy, Danny Ruiz and Cristina Huisha to create a video package about the Storrs Center. I gained first hand experience with video production and got to meet and interview Mansfield Mayor Paul Shapiro.
