During Spring 2022, I attended a 15 week course of Visual Design. For the last three weeks of the course I was taught and experimented with the different tools and shortcuts of InDesign. Majority of these weeks I focused on creating my final portfolio of projects.
For this Project I learned the basic tools of InDesign as well as the importance of typography when creating graphics. I used different fonts and font sizes to express the importance and mood of different parts of the article. InDesign has stylistic formats I experimented with. To adjust the text around the turtle jpeg I used the wrap around object tool and additional padding. I learned I have to use Command Shift when pulling a corner to resize an image, and to get rid of a hard edge of an image you can add a feather effect to the top.
