Maeve Cox acquired the best practices for creating and distributing media products while being a student at Quinnipiac University. Being part of an accelerated dual-degree program, Maeve will complete both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degrees in four years. Maeve will graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and a minor in Film and Television. She will graduate as a Lambda Pi Eta Tau Delta Chapter member with a cumulative GPA of 3.75. She began working towards a Master of Science in Interactive Media and Communications during the Fall 2023 semester and will complete the program in May 2025. The flexible program allows Maeve to customize her degree to coincide with her career goal of being a social media specialist for a television or film production company. Social media is a growing industry that welcomes new innovative ideas to engage audiences, and the ICM program allows Maeve to explore social media, video, graphics, and content creation within a singular year.
Maeve is an organized leader with a strong work ethic and digital marketing skills. Through hands-on experiences, she is acquiring the skills necessary to effectively use different mediums to distribute information to a community. Maeve is a Quinnipiac residential assistant, a graphic designer at Bozzuto’s Inc, a marketing and communications assistant for the Quinnipiac School of Business, QUPRSSA’s social media chair, and the vice president of graphic design for The Agency at Quinnipiac. In each of these positions, she is gaining experience with Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Loomly, Wrike, Delivra, and various other digital marketing platforms.
Equipped with a diverse skill set, Maeve will be well prepared for the challenges she faces in the field of communications through her ability to conduct in-depth research, creatively and critically think, problem solve, and produce professional media throughout her exceptional four years at Quinnipiac University.
